So what is Osteopathy? Click here for a short video introduction

Osteopathy is a system of assessing, diagnosing, treating and preventing a wide range of health problems. Focusing on the structure of the body, an osteopath will use hands-on manual techniques, such as manipulation of joints, lymphatic drainage and massage to encourage the body’s own healing mechanisms; they may also provide advice on lifestyle issues, diet and exercise.

Studying Osteopathy

Based in Maidstone, Kent, the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) is recognised globally as a leading osteopathic institution and our graduates can be found practising all over the world. Our four-year programme leads to an Integrated Masters Degree in Osteopathy, validated by Buckinghamshire New University.

The School has its own established teaching clinic where, under the supervision of qualified osteopathic tutors, students gain more than 1,200 hours of clinical experience. Students also take classes in marketing, communication and business development –every skill they need to enter the profession.  Just like most UK degree programmes, eligible students can apply for funding through the Student Loan Company.
